Substitute Teacher (Long and Short Term)

Occasionally, substitute teaching opportunities arise at Strake Jesuit because of pre-planned or unforeseen absences by Strake Jesuit faculty members. These substitute teaching opportunities are usually for a few days or weeks, but sometimes they can last several months or even for a large portion of the school year. Substitute teaching responsibilities typically include facilitating an academic lesson planned by a Strake Jesuit teacher and providing supervision and assistance to the students in the classroom. The school maintains a list of available substitute teachers interested in these subbing opportunities as they arise.

If you would like to be considered for substitute teaching opportunities at Strake Jesuit as they arise, please apply. If a substitute teaching opportunity arises, you will be considered along with the other applicants on the Substitute Teacher List and, if selected, we will contact you with more specific details about the opportunity that is available.
