Administrative Assistant to the President

The Administrative Assistant to the President provides direct administrative and organizational support to the President of Strake Jesuit College Preparatory. This is a full-time, mission-driven role requiring professionalism, discretion, exceptional organizational ability, and a deep alignment with the school’s Catholic and Jesuit identity. The person in this role works under the direction of the President to support the daily operations of the President's Office, including time management, communications, donor stewardship, and Board of Directors support. 

The Administrative Assistant is expected to support the mission and philosophy of Strake Jesuit. This includes modeling and encouraging faith formation, fostering a sense of service, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, and treating all members of the community with dignity and respect. The assistant must be committed to building a collegial and collaborative working environment where mutual support and trust are priorities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
  • 3–5 years of experience supporting senior-level leadership, preferably in education or a mission-driven organization, or evidence of this ability
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • High emotional intelligence, discretion, and professional demeanor
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with donor management systems (e.g., Raiser’s Edge) is a plus
  • Ability to create polished, professional documents, presentations, and reports
  • Comfortable navigating online databases, using spreadsheets for tracking and reporting, and learning new digital tools
  • Deep respect for the mission of Jesuit education and the Catholic faith tradition
